Class of 1971 will once again offer two $2500 scholarships to S-WHS graduates during 2011.
One scholarship is designated for a student pursuing an academic degree and one is for a student pursuing a vocational education.
Applications are available from S-WHS or State Street High School, or by inquiring via Classof71scholarships@comcast.net. Deadline for applications is the same as the S-WHS Alumni Association’s program, January 31, 2011.
Scholarship requirements are included in the application package; applicants are encouraged to read the instructions carefully and to prepare an electronic submission. A committee of Class of 71 members reviews and scores all applications to determine the winners.
