Yes! We do meet in December! After the craziness of the holiday month we like to sit and relax and visit. Sometimes class members from out of town are visiting family here, and they attend. Is it you?
Usual time and place - 5ish to 7ish at The Woolley Market in downtown Sedro-Woolley. A great place to meet and pick up a few specialty groceries for the week.
Have you seen the decorations in downtown Sedro-Woolley? All your favorites are there - the lights at the Sedro-Woolley welcome sign; the banners, lights, and winter branches on the light poles, and our big Christmas tree at the intersection of Metcalf and Woodworth! Downtown has a little magic at Christmastime and you should be here to feel it!
So sparkle on down to the coffee hour and see who is there.
Early warning: Our January coffee hour will be Tuesday, January 26, 2016!
Happy new year to the Class of 71 and friends!!

5th
The annual Sedro-Woolley Community Christmas Parade is
scheduled for Saturday, December 5th. I keeping with our tradition,
Sedro-Woolley will be transformed into Sedro-Whoolleyville for another Dr.
Seuss inspired celebration. Featured in the Parade will be Grand Marshalls
Jeanne McLennan and Frank Martin along with the arrival of Santa and the
ever-present Grinch. There will be a wide variety of events happening
throughout the entire day including children's activities, train rides, and
pony rides. The Cascade Middle School Choir will provide caroling and an all
star selection of judges will be on hand to judge the parade entries.
Following the parade Santa will be available for children of
all ages at The Woolley Market.

Annual pot luck - Tuesday, July 28th - 5:30ish to whenever!
Our July monthly get-together will be our annual pot luck at
Shirley Hooper Knapp’s house in Sedro-Woolley!
Tuesday, July 28th. 5:30ish to 7ish or beyond…
Note that we’re starting a little later – 5:30 – to give
Shirley some time to get home and get ready for us!
Check the e'mail sent to all class members for Shirley's address and directions to her house.
We normally bring just whatever we feel like bringing and it
always seems to make a successful meal. We talked about “Mexican” as an
idea for what to bring, but there is no plan…
Shirley says she’ll have water, soft-drinks, beer, and paper
service (plates, napkins, etc.) and enough chairs. We’ll bring
food! Salads, meats, casseroles, rolls, veggies, fruit, other desserts,
and whatever you think of. It will all work out. THANKS to Shirley
for hosting!
We always see folks at this gathering who might not be able
to make it to the monthly coffee hours.
All are welcome!
So meander on out to Shirley’s on the 29th!
See you there!
Early
Warning: Our August get-together will be Tuesday, August 25th at the
Woolley Market Back to our regular routine!

Class of 71 Monthly Coffee Hour April 28th! 5ish to 7ish.
Yep, even when I forget to post it, we still have our monthly coffee hour! Always on the "last" Tuesday of the month.
Now at The Woolley Market, we meet upstairs in what used to be the mezzanine when the building was a JC Penney store back in the 1960's.
They have a nice "community table" upstairs where we can visit and laugh (!) without disturbing too many people. Their barista downstairs does a Woolley Latte or whatever you like. Plus, we can do some grocery shopping before we leave.
So come on and join us! We even welcome folks from other classes.
Pretty soon it will be time to start planning our July pot luck.
