Annual pot luck - Tuesday, July 28th - 5:30ish to whenever!

Our July monthly get-together will be our annual pot luck at Shirley Hooper Knapp’s house in Sedro-Woolley!

Tuesday, July 28th.  5:30ish to 7ish or beyond…

Note that we’re starting a little later – 5:30 – to give Shirley some time to get home and get ready for us!

Check the e'mail sent to all class members for Shirley's address and directions to her house.

We normally bring just whatever we feel like bringing and it always seems to make a successful meal.  We talked about “Mexican” as an idea for what to bring, but there is no plan…

Shirley says she’ll have water, soft-drinks, beer, and paper service (plates, napkins, etc.) and enough chairs.  We’ll bring food!  Salads, meats, casseroles, rolls, veggies, fruit, other desserts, and whatever you think of.  It will all work out.  THANKS to Shirley for hosting!

We always see folks at this gathering who might not be able to make it to the monthly coffee hours.  All are welcome!

So meander on out to Shirley’s on the 29th!  See you there!

Early Warning: Our August get-together will be Tuesday, August 25th at the Woolley Market  Back to our regular routine!

Annual pot luck at Gary's - we look good!

We had a fun, relaxing pot luck and visit tonight! Weather was cool but Gary has a gazebo with outdoor heater and we all sat around it and were toasty. Great food, great friends! You wish you were there. Took four group photos. This was the best one.

See you at the coffee hour next month!

Class of 71 annual summer pot luck

If you do it twice, it's a tradition, isn't that true? We had our "second annual" pot luck dinner at Gary Rothenbuhler's tonight, complete with salmon, tasty dishes contributed by attendees, and entertainment! Gary's yard is a play paradise for grandkids so we admired the gazebo, play equipment, tree dangle art (don't know exactly what to call it), and rows of ripe berries. Tomatoes are coming on. Lots of visiting, some eating, some original songs and poetry, beautiful weather. Couldn't have been nicer. We'll look forward to seeing more folks next year!

Here's that good-looking crowd that came (minus the photographer):
