Class of 71 coffee hour May 28th!

Our next class coffee hour is Tuesday, May 28th!  We always meet on the "last" Tuesday of the month.  5ish to 7ish.  Starbucks at exit 232.  You know the drill. 

We'll hope for some summer next week!  Winter has returned this week.  But maybe we'll be able to sit outside by next Tuesday.

Class of 71 Monthly Coffee Hour April 30!

Our monthly coffee hour falls on the "last" Tuesday of the month, so in April it is on the 5th Tuesday! 

Starbucks at Exit 232 off I-5 -- Old timers refer to this as the "end of the Cook Road", even tho it isn't -- 5:00-ish to 7:00-ish.  No set time; just come when you can and visit with your classmates!

A few things are coming up:

SWHS Alumni Association annual geranium and tomato plant sale is Saturday, May 4th, at 9:00 a.m.  At the little building just west of the SW Community Center.  Benefits the Association's vocational scholarship program.  BEAUTIFUL plants will be available for purchase!

All-Class Picnic as produced by the SWHS Alumni Association is Saturday, July 13th.  Riverfront Park, 11:00 a.m. to about 3.  Catered lunch $15 for advance reservations and $20 at the door.
This is such a BIG and FUN event!  Classes sit together and mingle with other classes, too!  Again, proceeds benefit the Alumni Association's vocational scholarship program.

Monthly coffee hour - Tuesday March 26th!

Celebrate spring and daylight saving by coming to our March coffee hour!  It's not so dark for the drive home - we meet from 5ish to 7ish and look forward to these longer days!!

Last month we had a chatty crowd and solved many of the world's problems right there at the table!

So spring on over to Starbucks at exit 232 and join us for camaraderie and coffee.  It's still ok to bring handwork! 

Monthly coffee hour Tuesday, February 26th!

We'll have our regular monthly gathering at Starbucks at Exit 232 on February 26th, from 5ish to 7ish.  Come on out and spend a little time with your "old" friends!

We'll be there to discuss the news of the day - bring handwork if you want to.  We have some talented knitters and other crafters in the bunch.  And we love show and tell!

Class of 71 coffee hour - Tuesday, January 29th!

Here’s our first gathering of 2013!  Tuesday, January 29^th! – same place – Starbucks at Exit 232.

Seems like a long time since we last met.  It was - December 18^th.  So come on over from 5ish to 7ish and start the year right!

Early warning: The February 2013 gathering will be on Tuesday, February 26^th.  We normally meet on the “last” Tuesday of the month. 

Early-early warning.  The SWHS Alumni Association All-Class Picnic will be Saturday, July 13th at Riverfront Park.  Cost will be the same - $15.  FYI.  The Alumni Association Winter 2013 newsletter is being released RIGHT NOW.  If you don’t get a copy, let me know and I’ll put your e’mail address on the distribution list.  We send out about 4500 copies, including e’mail and hard copies.  Picnic reservation form is in the newsletter.

SWHS Alumni Association elects new officers

New officers have been elected and duly installed for 2013.  Now the year begins to raise funds for vocational scholarships for SWHS and State Street High School graduates. 

If you're not a member of the Alumni Association, you should be!  It's a great way to support our school and the young graduates. 

The annual All-Class Picnic is July 13, 2013 so get that on your calendar now!  It's such a fun event with LOTS and LOTS of people you already know!

The next Class of 71 Coffee Hour will be January 29th.  See you there and maybe see you on the downtown Sedro-Woolley cam!

Our monthly coffee hour is a little early during December - we normally meet on the "last" Tuesday of the month - this month the "last" Tuesday is Christmas!  So we're planning to get together on Tuesday the 18th, for a last gathering of the year.

Same Bat Time, same Bat Station - Starbucks at Exit 232 (the Cook Road exit, you know the one) from 5ish to 7ish. 

If you got the Bat reference, you are definitely in our age group.

So come on out and wish your classmates a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
