Class of 71 coffee hour - December 18th!

Happy Beethoven's Birthday, December 16th!

 

 

Our monthly coffee hour is a little early during December - we normally meet on the "last" Tuesday of the month - this month the "last" Tuesday is Christmas!  So we're planning to get together on Tuesday the 18th, for a last gathering of the year.

Same Bat Time, same Bat Station - Starbucks at Exit 232 (the Cook Road exit, you know the one) from 5ish to 7ish. 

If you got the Bat reference, you are definitely in our age group.

So come on out and wish your classmates a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 

Class of 71 Coffee Hour - Nov. 27th

Tuesday, November 27th, is our next scheduled gathering!  Same place - Starbucks at Exit 232.  Last month we had 14 attending!  Several who had never been before - we hope you all come back!  We were a little rowdy, but it was the night before Halloween and we are all starting to turn 60...time to howl!  Thanks to Leilani for taking some fun photos of us - no closeups, thank you.  So come on over from 5ish to 7ish and see who is there this month!

Class of 71 Monthly Coffee Hour Sept. 25th

Tuesday, September 25^th is our next monthly scheduled gathering of Class of ’71 locals from 5ish to 7ish!

Will the BEAUTIFUL weather hold so we can sit outside?  Will Gary bring some of that green lemonade concoction that he’s been making?

If you are on Facebook, look for other Class of 71 members.  We’re there!  “Friend” each other!

BTW, Class of 70 had a mass 60^th birthday party for themselves this summer.  Should we have one?

SWHS All-Class Picnic July 7th

It's almost here!  The SWHS All-Class picnic.  Class of 71 will be there with our sign...we were the groundbreakers for the sign thing - now every organized class has one!

Cost is $15 and please specify a hamburger or chicken entree for the lunch.

Come early, stay late!  Wear sunscreen!  Bring some cash so you can buy raffle tickets on some great items to support the SWHS Alumni Association's scholarship program.

The SWHS Alumni Assn also has a Facebook page and the picnic details have been in the Skagit Valley Herald and on various Internet community calendars.

This event grows bigger every year because it's so much fun!  See members of other classes and visit all around Riverfront Park.  It's an easy way to have a mini-reunion with your class.

Joy's Bakery is our caterer again this year.  Great to have SWHS Alumni taking care of us again!  

Come on out and enjoy a beautiful day with your friends.  Bring your camera!   

June monthly coffee hour will be a pot luck dinner!

Tuesday, June 26th we'll be meeting at Gary Rothenbuhler's house instead of our usual coffee place.  For our almost-annual pot luck dinner!  5ish until he makes us go home.  This is always a fun time with music and food!  Bring whatever - fish and potatoes are already taken.  Well, there's always room for more fish!  See you there!
